| | A little bit about my family My wife Olive and three kids, Mark, Mico and Oshelle. My wife decided to stay home for good after giving birth to Mico. Before that, she was working at Lourdes Hospital as Respiratory Therapist. She said it was about time to dedicate her time in taking care of our kids. Until now, she takes care of them and acted as father and mother to our loving kids. Mark (going 16 this October) will be in 4th year high school. He loves to play video games and do experimenting with our computer. Our computer has already bogged down twice because of his experimentation. Mico (going 14 this August) will be in 2nd year high school this year. He loves to cook. I am sure he will be a good chef one day. He is also now starting to like photography. He is also a varsity player of Badminton Oshelle (going 13 this July) is our youngest. She be in 1st year high school . A frequent honor student. I don't know what happened but it started this year when she began to join in cultural event like Sta. Cruzan. Maybe she wants to be a beauty queen someday. |
Siblings One of the cherished moment is the homecoming of my older brother whom I have not seen for almost 8-1/2 years. The last time we saw each other was in Jan 1999 when our mother died. When he learned that I will be coming home ( as well as one of my nephew in the US), my kuya Willie also took the opportunity not to miss this moment. Sadly, we only spent only one day together because of work constraints on my side.
But still that one day is very very important to me as we spent almost 24 hours together.
Just for information, we are four in the family (all boys). Our kuya Rolly who is the eldest already passed away last 2001. Next is kuya Willie followed by kuya Jun. I am the youngest. | | | Common trait --> Receding hairline. hehehe |

| | Family Reunion My vacation this year also coincided with the vacation of my brother (kuya Willy) and his wife (ate Luisa) from Seattle, Washington. Youngest son of my late kuya Rolly (Raffy from Baltimore,Maryland) also came home. Unfortunately not around was my godson/nephew (Vincent) and his family (Rocelyn at dauther Vanessa) because of workload at the office.
Another schedule of family reunion will be early 2009. I hope I will be in Manila at that time. |
Rizal Memorial Coliseum, 2005 Track and Field Stadium, 23rd SouthEast Asian Games. I also considered this visit to the Games as my bonding moment with my family as I would be living for Doha in a few days from this event. We watched the final events of men's table tennis, baseball, gymnastics and tennis.
| | Tagaytay City 2004 First long trip of our AUV was here in Tagaytay last Nov 2004. |
Enchanted Kingdom, 2004 We visited this place for the birthday celebration of our eldest kid.
| The Great Buddha of Kamakura |
| | Yokohama Japan, 2004 This was the first time I went to Japan. I was assigned for 3 months in our Head office in Minato Mirai. Most of my travel at that time was with my colleagues who have been at Yokohama for more than a year then. On my first weekend here, Kamakura was the first place that I have visited.
During this assignment, I was able to visit also Enoshima Island, Yokohama Sea Paradise and Yamashita Park.
I intentionally skip going to Tokyo Disneyland because I would feel lonely because my family is not with me. |
