Restaurant Name: The Kneadery
This is a very popular and venerated locally owned breafast/lunch spot. They have live music some evenings. The place is warm, woodsy, and decorated with miscellaneous old signs and what not on the walls along with taxidermied animals in appointed locations. There's a huge fireplace in the dining room that also adds greatly to the atmosphere. The place has been a local spot since 1975. We went early so that we wouldn't have to wait for a table. So early we brought the kids in their pajamas. The weather was nice and the back patio was open, meaning we didn't have to wait, there was plenty of room.
I like the traditional breakfast fare, the omelets. My nephew likes the pancakes. The menu is American and offers a variety for the meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The food is updated, not a greasy spoon, but also not quite the updated classics one would find in trendy Los Angeles.
