Getting there from Tahiti It is a convenient 45 minute ferry / boat ride from Tahiti to Moorea. There are a number of departures per day. Different companies provide the service. It isn't hard to get to Moorea from Tahiti and back again.
We visited Tahiti/Moorea on a whim. We had a stopover on our way back from New Zealand to Los Angeles and decided to spend a couple of days exploring. Moorea was the 2nd biggest highlight of the trip. (the first was seeing my newborn niece for the first time in New Zealand) |
