The eclectic antique and collectables museum was very interesting.
As for the carriage tour - the carriage driver was very pleasant.
The carriage ride itself would have been a bit more enjoyable if our horse hadn't had such a terrible 'GAS' problem. My friend and I were informed by the driver that horses do often times - Fart a lot.
As for the scenic view, it was a little boring. It would have been better to have the trail go through the woods rather than along the edge of them. We did catch a glimpse of some deer in the center field feeding though, and we did get to stop and see other horses running in a enclosed field.
The tour is about 1/2 hour.
After the horse drawn carriage tour, we got a chauffeured ride to the Picnic area & Falls in a restored, vintage 1967 Plymouth Barracuda convertible (with the top down of course) was GREAT ! The wind blowing in our hair . . . ahhh.
After the tour, the driver drove us to the picnic and Falls area.
We were provided with a blanket and a picnic basket filled with a pre-chosen meal from a provided short menu found on their web page. . . 2 Tenderloin of Beef on Croissants, Fresh Vegetables, Cheese, Olives, Fresh Fruit, Dessert Plate, silverware, plates, napkins, 2 wine glasses, a bottle of non-alcoholic Champagne. The meal was really good & plentiful & the non-alcoholic Champagne was delicious! Then we walked around the corner to the boardwalk that led to the 65 foot tall water falls. We were allotted 1 1/2 hours to enjoy our picnic and enjoy the Falls before the driver came back for us.
- Pros:Nice country scenery. Laid back atmosphere.
