In the Vatican - or not? In summer 1999 I attended the Vatican Observatory Summer School of Observational Astronomy and Astrophysics. It was great! Four weeks with 25 fellow students from around the world (STR greetings to all!). Apart from study and work, we had time for travel, sunbathing, swimming and partying. Since we were in Rome on only two days, my Vatican page will be biased towards the small town of Castel Gandolfo. |
