Looking for a beautiful sunset and magnificent sunrise? A cool, quiet place to spend the weekend? Calirya lake is just a 3hr trip from manila and offers all that. If you like the outdoors like me, then Eco Saddle is the best place to go in Caliraya. Bring your camping gear, some food, then relax and enjoy the view ! Call Mr. Benz Abenonar at 0928 401 6609. He manages the eco park and is also raising funds to save the nearby forests. The best time to go there is late March. You can even arrange a special 2hr hike to the water falls. The scenery along the way is unbelieveably beautiful. You'll see a 360 view that includes both Laguna de Bay and Lake Caliraya . You will also come accross wide fields with volcanic rocks that look more like a place in Ireland than in the Philippines.

A visit to an island in Zambales resulted in a surprisingly satisfying weekend. The quiet waters of Potipot Island in Zambales truly is refreshing. Night swimming in its clear, tranquil waters is definitely a must for all beach lovers.

hi mang kiko! we're planning to go to eco saddle one of these days. can we go swimming there?hiking, maybe? you see, it's the family's 1st camping so i would to make a very memorable one. and also, safe po ba sa campsite???
