Amsterdam Travel Guide: 10,042 reviews and 20,816 photos
I was only in Amsterdam for one day. We left Middelburg, about a 2 1/2 hour train ride. I think everything I did was special that day. I have never been on a train. So that was a new experance for me. The trains are just wonderful. I took the boat ride, visited the the maritime museum. We did a walking tour of the city, I got to see the famous "Red Light Area". I can say its nothing special, we have areas like that in the USA. Amsterdam is is just to big to see in one day. I got a good idea of what I want to see on my next trip. Well my day ended to soon. We had to catch the train back to Middelburg.
