Hat Yai - First encounter with Thailand

Southern part of Thailand, sleazy place to be in? You decide...

In the recent months, there are many negative reporting on this part of Thailand due to the conflicts at the borders... But heck them, I enjoy this place when I was there... A place that you can find good food like Bah Kut Teh, Shark's fin soup and Bird's nest... Low cost travelling... live like a king... shop all you want... oh ya, the Thai massage...

Most of all, the ppl there speaks my dialect - Teochew and its nice to be able to communicate properly and be understood... Haven't got a picture for this part of Thailand...

My cousin & I were stalked in Rome...This guy kept flashing his thing around LOL Seems like a global problem.

Dont' worry about "speaking the dialect", when people desire to communicate and understand you it is amazing how little true language good people need.
