Okay, seems like common sense right? But if you have ever lost your car in the Disneyland Parking Lot, you will know exactly why remembering where you parked is so important. The primary parking for both theme parks is a Parking Structure about a mile away from the parks. You board a tram which takes you to the entrance. Now calling this a parking structure is like calling the Titanic a rowboat. This is the second largest parking structure in the world. Don't ask me where the first is. It is six stories tall and about half a mile long. The pictures just don't do it justice when it comes to conveying the immensity of this thing. So if you lose your car in here, you are going to be looking for a long while. They give you a little ticket when you pay for your parking. It has a spot to write down the location of your vehicle. When you park, take ten seconds and write it down. It will save you an hour wandering around the structure at the end of the night...

There are a number of rides in both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure that say "you may get wet". But there is one ride to watch out for. It's called Grizzly River Run . And let me just say, if you choose to go on this ride YOU WILL GET WET! No matter where you sit or what you do, you are going to get completely soaked. I don't just mean mildly damp here. I mean we're talking 'just walked out of the shower in all your clothes' wet. And if you do that kind of thing early in the day, it can be pretty miserable the rest of the day walking around in wet shoes and underwear. So be kind to yourself, either go later in the day so you have less time to be miserable, or bring a dry change of clothes for later when the sun goes down and the temperature drops a bit. You'll thank me later...
