first of all i would never go there if my friend being a very sophisticated person wouldnt make in advance a reservation and wasnt so looking forward to have this culinary experience:) yes, they say you have to book a table at least 1 week before, so...i'm considering it was my luck to have dinner in one of the best restaurants in Tokyo. The restaurant is located on 52nd floor in Park Hyatt Hotel (worth a visit itself, please read my tip about it), was opened in 1994, it's surrounded on four sides by glass offering stunning views especially by night. They have 1600 bottle wine cellar, live jazz in the evenings. All food is prepared in an open kitchen, which is very impressive. In the menu-japanese steaks, seafood, and even lamb is acclamed to be "certified organically raised":)
few years later..still under impression.........!!!
highly recommended if you are ready to pay at least 100$ for a dinner..i was lucky enough being invited:))
