Castellane lies in a valley near the river Verdon the valley is also known as Gorges du Verdon. It has a beautiful surrounding. You can walk along the Verdon or rent a boat to go rafting. Castellane is a small touristique town and the best attraction is the church on top of a rock. Notre Dame du Roc.
