Bangladesh ,Nepal, Bhutan , Mauritius These travels started way back in 1997 and continued till 2001.
Very nice and freindly experiences , much better thn the chaos that some of these places are in currently, but definately gives a flavor of the sub continent. Will upload pics as soon as I figure out how to, |
Phillipines , Thailand Again on mainly business trips.
Phillipines : In addition to Manila , Covered Subic Bay and the North Phillipines. A beautiful country with very freindly people. A place where your oney takes you long...very long. Worth a visit.
Thailand : Tourism at its commercial best |
Thailand , Malaysia & Singapore These travels were with my family ( wife and a young son). Thailand again was beautiful, especially Pattaya (must go to Noochnoong village for elephant show) and its beaches, plus Bangkok.
Malaysia : The twin towers are good. Genting highlands is hyped up but worth its value for money if you have kids with you.
Singapore : Many places to see, Jurong Night Safari is a must alnog with the Juraong bird park , Sentosa islands etc. |
South Africa , Botswana & Zimbabwe We went in May-June '06. Good experience and believe me, South Africa is much cheaper than many other places. Maybe that's why even neighbouring country people find it affordable to vacation in SA.
Did self driving tours and throughly enjoyed the experience.
Botswana was good and Zimbabwe was good for a short visit to the Vic Falls. Had Croc meat at Zimbabwe . Keep an eye on the currency rates. |
