We ended up in Prague on New Year's eve after missing our connection on Ryan Air to Norway (no refunds, no exchanges!). Just as well, New Year's was amazing, with fireworks exploding all around us, setting the sky and the street (literally) ablaze.
From great floodlit gothic arches and spires to elegant swans on the Vlata River, Prague was a treat.
- Pros:Very interesting city layout to explore; young, international feel if you like that sort of thing
- Cons:Daytime colors very gray in winter (no snow that year), i hate that train station so much
