Roxas is getting to be one of my favorite cities in the Philippines! It is ofttimes considered to be a stop-over on the way to Boracay but I think it deserves its chance to shine. The picture above is just one proof of this! No, not really! Hehehehe! it looks like a monster from a sci-fi movie. Kids see this picture and tell me the thing looks like it's about to eat them! The "alien" is called kuray (aka Land Crab or Cardisoma Carnifex)

Reserve seats with the Dimple Star Transit or Ceres Transport. Their buses are new and the A/C is really cool!

How to manage the trip:
1. Pack lightly.
2. Put food stuff and personal items in a separate tote for easy handling. Luggage needs to be left inside the bus at all times.
3. Bring enough water and food for at least 12 hrs. :)
4. Stay outside while on the RORO because there's a lot of interesting islands enroute. Keep camera ready. (Again, as if!)
5. Be ready to pig out! (AS IF I NEED A REMINDER?!)

• Pros:A really good city to visit! The food is good and people are helpful!
• Cons:Too hot and humid!!!
• In a nutshell:I love the seafood!
