| | Ifontok Before I spent this easter week in this mountain town, what I knew about Bontoc won't even fill a doll's tea cup. :D All I knew was that it's a town you go through en route from Sagada to Banaue or v.v.
VT members who've been to this town noted that it's worth a stop over to visit the museum and a good place to stop for lunch. :) I even said the same as a side trip in my Sagada page! :D
Well, Bontoc is much more than that. |

| | "Ifontok" means someone from Bontoc I met a lot of good and friendly people this time! One of the most interesting was Mrs. Sofia Oakes Bacwaden, the composer of the Provincial Hymn of Mt. Province. She's also the author of books on the traditional songs and poetry of the Bontoc people. |
