Juneau is so beautiful! We stayed a weekend; I think a short cruise-ship stop can't do it justice!
While there, we:
1. went salmon fishing, (but missed the season by a couple weeks so we didn't catch anything)
2. ate a lot of salmon (that someone else caught) at the Twisted Fish
3. enjoyed the hot-tub in our hotel room (see my hotel review!)
4. climbed Mt. Roberts (halfway via tram, then hiked the rest!)
5. visited the old gold mine
6. took a helo tour out to the glacier for a short hike
7. stopped by the Mendenhall Vistors Center
8. watched about a hundred bald eagles in fields around town |
