Bacon Lettuce Tomato 235baht
The Irish Times has a similar menu and prices to Molly Malone's, so is more expensive than most places as they also add on taxes.
It is pot luck with the food here, sometimes it is ok, sometimes it is terrible. Their baguettes are delicious but the Potato & Leek soup was very tasteless) The all day breakfast, is huge and included, toast, coffee and juice.
The first breakfast was we had was delicious but the next time it was terrible, undercooked bacon and everything was cold! Another meal I tried was the Bangers and Mash, I was having a craving for some comfort food and this did not hit the spot, the sausages were horrible!
Happy Hour is from 1pm to 6pm
The Irish Times Pub is in the square (outside area) at Jungceylon shopping centre. I would not class it as a must do favorite of ours but if your in the area its good for a drink stop and more importantly they have fantastic clean toilets with loads of toilet paper.

Quarterdeck Bar & Restaurant
Quarterdeck Bar & Restaurant is in a beautiful setting overlooking lush green gardens and magnificent boats. It is the type of place you could just sit and spend the day watching the activity around the Marina and relaxing.
The bar fridges would have to be the most well stocked fridges I have seen, beers from all around the world and they have the delicious Hoegaarden rosée on tap. There is also an extensive cocktail menu and prices are very reasonable. We are looking forward to coming back here for lunch or dinner next visit.

Re Ka Ta Kata Beach
Re Ka Ta is a restaurant, bar, beach club, café and spa which is part of the Boathouse Hotel on Kata Beach. By day it looks very stark and not inviting at all, but at night it is quite pretty when all lit up with changing colored lights.
Every Thursday is Ladies Night with free express manicures and a free martini on arrival. Select drinks are also 50% discount for the night. So this is the best time to visit as drinks are quite expensive here. The night we went I was filmed having a manicure by Phuket Gazette for their television show. So my manicure was quite good and not the normal very quick express one.
Lovely spot for sunset drinks.

Lucky Seafood - Ao Po
On the east coast of Phuket in a little village just before the Ao Po Grand Marina is a fantastic rustic little restaurant called Lucky Seafood. The restaurant is very basic with views over the water and it is run by a lovely Thai family.
The food here is fantastic and very fresh; we had the best seafood fried rice, huge tiger prawns cooked in garlic, whole fish that were bigger than the plates and delicious fresh vegetables. The total bill for 5 of us was including drinks was only 3000baht.
We highly recommend Lucky Seafood if you are looking for somewhere out of the tourist areas.

Absolute Ceylon Pub
The Absolute Ceylon Pub is located just outside the second building of Jungceylon shopping centre, it faces the Banzaan fresh food markets. If we are shopping inside then we will call in to Absolute for a drink.
The sandwiches and light snacks are ok if your just after a quick bite to eat. I would not go out of my way to eat here though.
The pub has pool tables and live entertainment, plus the toilets are nice and clean!

Number 9 restaurant
Number 9 restaurant would have to be up there among our favorite restaurants in the Patong area. We have enjoyed every meal we have had there, prices are great for food and drinks plus the staff are wonderful.
The restaurant is on Phra Barami Road opposite the Patong Paragon Hotel.
If your walking there from Rat-u-Thit Road keep walking north to the end of the road then turn left towards the beach, No. 9 is halfway down on your left.
Try their crepes and ice-cream, its delicious, the crepe is wrapped like a bow with ice-cream in the middle and lashings of chocolate sauce and whipped cream, all for 100 baht!
Thai meals range from 100 - 125baht, a beer will cost you 70baht and a spirits and mix 90baht.
There is also a good selection of European and Western meals.

Price: less than US$10

Islander Bar & Restaurant
We have been going to the Islander Bar & Restaurant for 17 years now and their prices for food and drinks are excellent. The menu consists of English, Thai and International foods.
Meals are huge and all of the imported meat is from Australia and New Zealand.
Their Bangers and Mash is the best!
The best breakfast in Phuket can be found here, it is called the All Day Big British Breakfast for 220 Baht, this includes: Cumberland sausages, English short back bacon, Eggs - any style, baked beans, fried tomatoes, sautéed potatoes, toast with butter and jam, tea or coffee and fruit juice.
Their roasts are great as well!
The Islander Bar & Restaurant has great staff, is family friendly and has good clean western toilets.
There are quite a few televisions and most sports are shown live.
We highly recommend dropping by for a drink or meal.
Favorite Dish: We love the All Day Big British Breakfast, its huge and only cost 200Baht!!
Nothing tastes better when you have had a big night the night before.
Cumberland sausage
English shortback bacon
Eggs (anystyle)
Baked beans
Fried tomato
saute potatoes
Toast (with butter & jam)
Mug of tea or…Coffee
Fruit Juice.

Delish
Delish is an Australian owned Café on the way to Rawai, we have had lunch here a few times as after so long in Phuket we were just craving a good toasted sandwich.
Delish did not disappoint. Service can be a bit on the slow side sometimes but the quality of the food makes up for it, as do the delicious homemade cakes on offer.
Prices are on par for western food in Phuket. We hear they have a good breakfast so will try that next visit.
If you are out this way then Delish is worth a stop even if it's just for a nice icy cold milkshake.
UPDATE
Our latest visit to Delish was not as good as previous visits, the sausage toasted sandwich was terrible, it looked and tasted like the sausage had been boiled then quickly fried as you can see from the photos below, it was also very hard to eat as the sausages were not sliced down the middle like before. My vanilla milkshake tasted like watered down icy milk - very disappointing!

The Beach 2 Restaurant - Lay Phung Beach
The Beach 2 Restaurant is at Lay Phung beach which is in between Bang Tao Beach & Layan Beach, past the Laguna Hotels.
This is a fantastic restaurant with the freshest seafood, great prices and away from the hustle and bustle. So if you want to eat somewhere different that is nice, quiet and the perfect spot to watch one of Phukets beautiful sunsets, then the Beach Restaurant 2 is the place to go.
Our favorite dishes here are Sea Bass with garlic and pepper sauce, Sea Bass with chili sauce and the best seafood Tom Yum we have ever tasted.
The owner Joop is a lovely friendly man who is full of advice with regards to their menu; he actually went to school with another good friend of ours Mit from Patong Tattoo. Mit has recently opened a beautiful bar next door to The Beach 2 Restaurant which is starting to become very popular.

Bang Mud Floating Restaurant
We have been to Bang Mud floating restaurant many times over the years and we always go with Mit and Wat from Patong Tattoo, along with their parents, wives and children. It is so good to catch up with the family and we always have so much fun together.
Each time we go it is fantastic, instantly food and drinks start to appear and it just keeps on coming, whole fish, fresh oysters, prawns, crabs, soups, fish curries, tempura prawns, mussels, cockles, rice, and noodles. They always order to much food but what is left over is normally then taken home.
You can also hire fishing rods at the restaurant for 100baht a day and whatever you catch you just take home with you. Then the boys take us on a long tail ride around Koh Maphrao island which is what we all do together each time we come over to Bang Mud and it takes about an hour.
Bang Mud restaurant is one of the floating restaurants off Koh Maphrao (Coconut Island) and is only a few minutes from Phuket Island by free long tail boat. It is definitely worth a visit, the setting is wonderful and the food is delicious and fresh.
To get there go to Laem Hin Port (off Thep Krasattri Road); it’s marked on all the maps.
Just before the Laem Hin seafood restaurant you will see a small dirt road on the right marked Private Rd, go down there and you will see the long tail boats, just catch one over to the floating restaurants, these transfers are provided free by the restaurants.
