York offers small-town atmosphere and a nice location to stop while exploring New England. It is a town that, by itself, doesn’t have a lot to offer for restaurants or night life. But, I was there with some friends and that made up for it.

After a long night of fun, I we woke up and took a nice long walk along the rocky dunes. I got some clam chowder near the York Beach lighthouse and it really hit the spot. The walk through the dunes was a beautiful, although it would have nice if it had been sunny. On the other hand, the atmosphere matched the rocky coast though.
