Or Known To Some People As Hotlanta

Atlanta is one of those cities that I have decided that I wouldn’t mind living in (or near, at least). I think the cost of living in town can be pretty expensive. I have friends who live about 45 minutes outside of the city, and the housing is much more reasonable there. Even close to the city it isn’t too terribly costly. The traffic is pretty bad though if you have to drive downtown for a job. I don’t know if I’d be up for that, since I’m only a half-mile from work right now. Maybe in retirement I can move there then! Nice climate and near a major international airport - I’d say that’s a major bonus!

Atlanta is a big city. I think it’s bigger than a lot of people realize. Although when I’m there visiting, I usually stay with friends who don’t live in the city. So I guess I enjoy the outskirts and small surrounding towns just as much. Maybe that’s why I would consider living there. I’ll have to spend a few nights in a downtown hotel to see what that’s like some time.
