Chicago in a few hours... Visiting Chicago was a last minute decision and we really only had about five hours there, which was not enough. When we decided to stop there on the way back from Wisconsin to Florida we were just going to drive through the city , to see what it looks like and be able to say we've been there, but that is not what happend. We stopped to get gas on the way in ( which was THE most expensive anywhere on the entire trip at almost $ 4 per gallon) when I asked a local what he would see in Chicago if he only had one day. His answer: Navy Pier. He gave us directions and off we went.
I liked Chicago because it was much cleaner than other large cities I have been to, and the people there were pretty nice, not rude like many people in other large cities , at least that day they were. |
