We only visited Switzerland for one day, during our last Europe trip in 2008. We drove to Appenzell and walked around the beautiful downtown area, had lunch in the most incredible , but expensive restaurant, bought lots of Swiss chocolate and then drove on to Schaffhausen to see the Rhein Fall, probably the largest waterfall in Europe. It was really more impressive than we had expected.
