Eat Tortellini

This is the food that Valeggio is famous for. What we tasted was great, though we haven’t had Tortollini everywhere in Italy. (Supposedly the best in Italy right here). The photo is from our meal at La Vecchia Botega. There’s Tortellini di Valeggio (made sense), and spinache i ricotta on the plate. We liked the 2nd one even better. Surely wherever you eat, Tortellini will be on the menu…

Around Borghetto

There's not a whole lot to do in the Borghetto area. Just walk the streets of this unique village. Situated above the river, there are a number of mills throughout the town that used to be powered by the waters current.

Spend some time at the many cafe's in town, preferebly within view of the water, most of them are.

More shoping and activites are to be had at the larger area of Valeggio up on the Hill; you've also got the castle up here to explore. But in Borghetto, enjoy "la dolce far niento" the sweetness of doing nothing.
