I've gone to school for the last four years in Los Angeles. For most of these 4 years, I disliked Los Angeles greatly. Now, as I am about to leave the city, I have very strong mixed feelings about LA. On one hand, LA is a glamorous, exciting city with loads to do. On the other hand, LA is an extremely materialistic, appearance-driven city which caters to the rich and famous alone. For all of these reasons though, LA is a city that one should definitely visit to experience for himself. Tourists seem to either love it or hate it...you should come to see for yourself!
