London by the Sea...

by USCgirlie - last update: Apr 1, 2006

A cosmopolitan city right by the sea...

I studied at the University of Sussex for a semester, which is located in Brighton. Brighton, known for being a holiday locale and an infamous nightlife destination, is also known for being incredibly diverse and tolerant. While Brighton is frequently called "London By the Sea," it has its own flavor and is definitely worth the visit. It is also located in East Sussex, a beautiful county with green, rolling hills and gorgeous sunsets. Only 50 minutes away from London by train, it's easily accessible.
