u gotta be kidding me!

of all the time that this "lion" had to take a bath, it fell coincidentally with our trip!(i dint even know lions take a bath, i thought they just lick themselves pretty.ü )we walked for like halfway around the world just to get here.i'd never say we got lost. ü we would have taken a taxi but the lady whom we asked for direction on where we could find a cab told us that it's better to just take a hike coz it's near. we surely had different notions of the near and far. and so we did walk and followed her direction, we got to it after much "we should have looked for a cab" gripes...sure, we found one at sentosa but this was the more symbolic one, whatever that means..

we planned for a KL-SG trip. we were more excited to go to KL coz of the genting highlands, we looked forward to making ourselves dizzy with all the rides but we weren't able to buy the return ticket (KL-SG) so we decided to just forego even if it meant wasting $30 for the SG-KL(nonrefundable) ticket. we couldn't risk not being able to be back to SG for our flight home. we thought ok, at least there's still the reverse bungy at clarke quay. but ladyluck wasn't really smiling down at us, it was closed for renovation when we got there.c'mon!the website dint say so.and oh, what's there to renovate?hmmmm, the rope maybe, but it still looked sturdy..at that point, we dint really care if we would be hurled to space.ü

it was such a disappointment but having cool travelmates (in my case, these were my cousins who are also my housemates)make the trip fun no matter how the initial plans went wrong.
lesson learned?!always have a contingency plan.
