"No Geo-Mags in Pisa" a Pisa Travel Page by DEBBBEDB

We took the train from Venice to Pisa's airport. There we checked our bags for the day, and rode the bus to Pisa. We got into a non-conversation with a local, who managed (by asking a school girl) to show us where to get off the bus. I think we talked about money and how expensive it is in England, but who knows.

After we saw the Tower and the Duomo and walked around town, we went back to the airport, retrieved our luggage, and waited for our flight. I had packed some of my son's Geomags into his bag and shortly after we had checked in we were paged. So, I went back to where they x-ray the luggage and they showed me his bag. They put it through the x-ray machine for me to see what they were concerned about - it was the Geomags, which I showed them.

Pretty funny, IMHO that they hadn't seen this Italian toy through their x-ray machines before. Our plane was an hour late, which means that we missed the last shuttle to the hotel, so we took a taxi.
