Pretty Victoria

by Quartzy - last update: Mar 22, 2006

Victoria's legislative buildings
From Vancouver, we took the ferry and the bus to Victoria. It was a pretty long way (especially since we missed the ferry we intended to take and had to wait for the next one) but Victoria made it worthwhile.

It's a very pretty, pedestrian-friendly city. The attractions were very well indicated everywhere and we had no trouble getting around at all. Public transportation caused no problem at all. I was amused by the sight of pedi-cabs offering people a ride.
