I originally thought of going to New York City when I discovered musicals. You can't be into musicals and not go to Broadway at least once in your life. However, there is much, much more to NYC than Broadway.

NYC is an exciting city - full of lights, noise, shops, street kiosks, honking cars and a huge number of pedestrians stepping on your toes. Except on Sunday mornings, when you can safely stand in the middle of the street on a red light (and I have a picture to prove it!).

I wouldn't live there, but it certainly is a city I will be visiting regularly all my life.
