Playful London

I was walking towards Waitrose past the Tower Bridge. A group of skinny Santa's came by and were wishing people, "Merry Christmas". It was very cold that morning but they were in good spirits. The cowboy just made me laugh all the more.

London is so playful. The people that I met in the pubs, the underground and out on the streets, want to intereact with people. With the saying of "Cheers" everywhere, it is that spirit that they carry through out their day. I love the beauty of the parks, the fun of the pubs and the laughter of the people.

I was going about every 3 months for about 10 days with work. I loved doing my grocery shopping all over town. When Whole Foods went in, they all thought it was funny that an American store watered the veggies.

I just wish my dollar was stronger here, but I was on an expense account for work.

From the old looking towards the new.

When I was staying at the Hilton Towers Bridge, I would walk over to Waitrose. I walked across the Tower Bridge. Looking at the new buildings from the old bridge was wonderful. London keeps it's rich history but always is in the NOW.

St. Kathrine's Docks

I enjoy going out to coffee places even tho, I am a tea drinker. Don't really go to Starbucks much. I prefer local small places with the local flavor. But this Starbucks, I loved. We were flat hunting for my co-worker to move here for work. He loved Boats and had to give his up in Ft. Launderdale. He also had to have his Starbucks coffee everyday. This place had both! I loved the shape of this Starbucks with a upstairs seating area.

What coffee places, do you all like when you go places? Please drop me a line and let me know. I will go check them out.
Thanks! Or as the English say, "CHEERS".
