I had my first trip to Africa in May 2000. I went to Egypt with a friend. We spent most of our 2 weeks holiday in Sharm el-Sheikh and Sinai, but we also visited Cairo and Luxor.
In 2003 I travelled around Tunisia for 2 weeks.
Last year me and a friend went on a 2 week safari in Kenya and Tanzania.
In april 2006 I visited Ethiopia. Travelled the historical route north to Bahir Dar, Gondor, did hiking in Simien Mountains for 5 day, visited the churches in Lalibela and had a few day in Addis Abeba. All the historical sites was very impressive, but what really got to me was the people I meet, espesially the children, dirty, hungry, in rags, but still smiling.
