this river aptly named river of stones is 1 hour bus ride from trivandrum .strewn with stones boulders and dangerous pools and swift landslides it is a real threat to life at times .
there is a monument to those who succumbed near the front gate
always ask directions from natives while crossing on foot ...tempting ...since water is only knee deep to ankle deep in most parts.once you trek to the origin (1hour )this is the sight.
the trek once upon a time difficult has been made user friendly with hand rails..... disadvantage crowd and drunken revelry
vishu the malayali newyear is approaching ,time for these flowers to bloom

Who needs a night life in Kerala or India for that matter...just walk on the streets after dark and the streets come to life..Nice pages.would love another visit to this part of India
