In amongst the hills - Scotland

In amongst the hills

climb a hill

Favorite thing: For those of you like ourselves, who are not into mountaineering it is great just to climb a hill. The hills around our area are around 3.000` and are not easy, but are manageable. Once you reach the top and see the magnificant views all around it is worth the climb. coming down can be harder as it kind of hurts your knees when you are lets say over 40.

Fondest memory: When I was small and returning from a holiday, my Father would say to us to look out for the hills (the Ochils). Only when we had them in our sights would we know that we truly were at home. This still applies today as whenever I return I always try to get them in my view.
