2011 plans

Well another fabulous holiday in India has been and gone this february, kerala this time was well worth the effort to get there. June we are off to the isle of Mull . Camping wild , hopefully catching fish and hopefully getting some decent weather, (please God). September its back to Crete and a must do is Sitia in the far east of Crete, its about the only notable place we have not visited. And then, well we shall possibly go somewhere with the grandchildren somewhere nice and warm as they holiday in Scotland all summer.

I love to travel and see new places. I especially love Greece and her islands. In my younger days I went back packing and ended up staying for 3 years. In that time I learnt a lot of Greek and a lot of life also. I have been to many Greek islands, aswell as the mainland, I think my favourite is Crete which I have visited on numerous occasions. I feel that the Cretan spirit is similar to Scottish, not the type that comes from a bottle! I usually go to greece at least twice a year. The most dramatic scenery in my opinion, can be seen in santorini.

The best things come in small packages, they are such a delight, dont know what I did before. This is the 3 girls. All of a sudden they have grown into little people. Aww!

A recent weekend was spent camping at Loch Awe, Nobody could accuse of us of not using whats on our doorstep. We are very fortunate here in Scotland, we wake up every morning to something different (due to weather). The weekend went really well, the sun shone and the midges had a feast on my poor husband, they dont like me as much.

Hi Cat, India was all I wanted in a trip and more. We loved every minute of it. Already planning another trip to the north of the country and Nepal. Not sure when but planning all the same :) Hope you are both well.
