My first time in Paris

This was our first time in Paris and We were pretty excited about it. We spent 6 days in Paris between April 16 - 22. We had a wonderful time in Paris experiencing the beautiful historical surroundings, gardens, arts, and of course food. Definitely spring time is a good time to visit Paris before the peak tourist season.

We were pretty lucky with the weather. The first couple days was cloudy in the morning and sun break from time to time in the afternoon. The last two days were just beautiful weather. It was 23C and we didn't even need to wear our coat.

The train ride from Amsterdam to Paris was easier than I thought. I was able to book the Thalys: Smilys fare (65 euros round trip) online with assigned seating. It only took about 4 hours for the whole trip. From Brussel to Paris,the Thalys train was training at around 190 miles per hour.

The metro system in Paris is pretty easy to use. We had no problems finding our way from "Gare du Nord" to "Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel". From the research I had done in advance, I was able to purchase weekly metro pass for only 15.70 euros(See the tips page for more details).
