Living the American Life in Cork

by Kimber_jewel - last update: May 10, 2007

I LOVE TO TRAVEL

I really enjoy traveling and spend countless hours searching for the best flight deals to get off this island. Still I find things to do around Ireland as well. I have managed to travelled all over North America, Europe, and to Asia.
The River Lee running through Cork

Cork Ireland - My New Home

Cork grew on me slowly, but It is starting to finally feel like home after nearly 2 years.

Cork, second largest city in Ireland and largest city in Munster. Ask any person from Cork and they will tell you that "Cork iz da true capitol".

Surrounded by water, Cork city sits on a island formed in the River Lee which flows into to Cork Harbour.

The city proper has a population of 123,062; this increases to 186,239 if the suburbs of the city in the Cork County Council area are included. The county (excluding city) has a population of 326,767.

Right so.
