I have very good friends living in Silkeborg; therefore I have visited the city several times.

Silkeborg is located in mid-eastern Jutland – in one of the most beautiful areas in Denmark (in my opinion). There are forests, lakes, rivers and a mountain so high that it reaches the sky…

And the city itself is a cozy place with a nice pedestrian shopping area where you find many good cafés, bars, and restaurants.

We visited Silkeborg several years ago including beautiful Himmelbjerget and the Silkeborg Museum to see Tollund Man. Hope you will add more to this page!
