|  | IT STARTED WITH CAMPING Hi, and thank you for visiting my little travel page. My name is Klaus, and I have been living in Copenhagen (Denmark) since 1994. I was born in Aarhus, but raised in Struer (a small town in Jylland) – besides that I have lived short periods in Esbjerg, Vejle and Billund.
My parents were campers - and when I was a child and young boy, we spent three weeks every summer driving around Denmark (and Germany) and sleeping in tent. It was a great way to experience the country, and I think I have been everywhere in Denmark - from Skagen (north), Fanø (west), Kruså (south) and Copenhagen (east)… Bornholm is still on my wish list!!!

| | TRAVELLING WITH FRIENDS My first – longer – trip abroad was with bus to the former Yugoslavia. It was a very long drive though Europe - but also very exciting and I think this trip really gave me the ‘travelling spirit’ - and fortunately I have had the opportunity to explore a small part of the World in the following years.
On many trips, my travelling companions have been friends I have known for ages - some of them go back to my youth in Struer. The photo is from a trip to Australia (Tully River) and the bold guy (front row left on photo) is ‘responsible’ for some of the photos I have used on my travelling pages…
In the recent years I have visited Mexico, Cuba, USA, Australia, Russia, Mongolia, Latvia, China, the Dominican Republic and more - latest trip was Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos in November 2008. My next longer trip will be Peru and Bolivia in November 2009...

| | FOOTBALL (SOCCER) I have to mention my big passion for football (soccer)… I have always been very interested in the game, and have been following the Danish national team on their away qualification games a few times. The photo is from a World Cup qualification game in Athens, Greece. It’s scanned from a Danish newspaper, and I’m standing left on the photo.
My lastest football trip was the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton in Marts 2008. It was a fantastic experience to hear the Kop sing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’... My next football trip will be the World Cup qualification game in September 2009 in Tirana between Albania and Denmark...
