"Florence - A Little Bit of Everything" Florence by Herkbert
Florence Travel Guide: 5,082 reviews and 11,268 photos
Florence was a city that I found dazzling. It's reputation as an arts and cultural mecca is well deserved. Great works of sculpture, beautiful paintings, and sensational architecture can be found around every corner. You can almost feel the history when you walk into a building, as you wonder about the people who have passed through the door before you over the centuries.
At the same time, there is the new part of Florence. The current group of artists, musicians and chefs that keep life interesting and the tourists happy are a very talented bunch.
Go to see the history, but don't forget to see the rest of Florence.
- Pros:Beautiful and historical with delightful people
- Cons:It's a tourist mecca
- In a nutshell:Florence is a must see city.
