We ended our italian holiday in Milan thinking we would check things out for a couple of days before flying home out of the Milano Malpensa Airport. Little did we know that we would find many things to see and do with many other things having to be bypassed for lack of time.
Most people who visit Milan know about the Duomo, the Teatro La Scala and DaVinci's - The Last Supper painting, but there is much, much more. A walk around the city will open your eyes to many interesting neighborhoods with shops, art galleries, museums and historical sites.
One of my favorite parts of our visit to Milan was just watching the people. City residents going about their daily routines while tourists scurry about snapping pictures. People get where they need to get using cars, trams, subways, bikes and scooters. You have to keep your eyes open as there seems to be traffic everywhere.
- Pros:Very diverse city with lots to see.
- Cons:Can become very crowded at times.
- In a nutshell:Not to be over-looked.

Nice tips on Milan! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit there. I had a fine time where I was there a couple years ago, saw two operas at La Scala, also rented a bicycle and rode all around.
