Though our trip to Tuscany started and ended in Pisa, we didn't spend much time seeing the sites of Pisa. Like everyone else, we did go to the Field of Miracles to see the Leaning Tower and Duomo. I guess that would be considered the minimum requirement if you are passing through Pisa.
Maybe we didn't give it a chance or maybe we were jaded by the other beautiful cities and little towns that we had been to, but Pisa didn't really do it for us. It was a great place to start and end our trip though, as Delta flies direct from JFK and the smaller airport was much easier to handle.
- Pros:Seeing the Leaning Tower
- Cons:The town could stand a bit of clean-up.
