Breathtaking views found everywhere | Nice beachfront from our room |
From the moment we arrived in Nice there was one word that you heard over and over again - "Wow"! The beautiful blue sky, the bright sunshine, the gorgeous beaches and the smiles on people's faces all had us saying - wow!
Be sure to walk all around Nice as there are so many things to see and enjoy. A few highlights for us included a stroll up and down the promenade, the views from Castle Hill, the markets in Cour Saleya, checking out the inside of the Hotel Negresco, the great restaurants in the old town, our hotel, and of course, the beautiful Bay of Angels.
From Nice it is easy to get to just about any place you want to visit on the Cote d'Azur. Buses, trains and boats are available to help you to enjoy the surrounding area. Do make a point of seeing some of the neighboring towns and villages - to miss them would be like looking at a beautiful artwork with one eye closed.
By day or night, it was just beautiful. |
