Prag is definetely a nice city - and it's cheap. The hostels though might be a bit expensive. (I stayed at a camping ground, and even that was not as cheap as I expected.) But shopping, transport, alcohol and eating out is really cheap. Just buying a bread cost 0.05 USD!
