Budapest is simply a stunning place to visit as it is rich in natural and architectural beauty. It might not be as strikingly beautiful as a city like Prague but it has far more going for it. It is one of those place, like Paris, that oozes romance.... not that I am too much of a romantic myself of course.

The River Danube embankments, the Castle District and the Andrássy út have all been officially recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.... and for good reason. Budapest is also home to many incredible spas and I would definitely recommend a visit to at least one of them.
