GANDALF'S WISE WORDS ON WORLD WANDERING HOWZIT!!!
Being one of the most prolific yet rubbish photographers yet to grace the world I am now in possesion of a fairly considerable collection of pictures from around the world. I live by the motto of quantity instead of quality, clinging to the hope that at least one of the many will turn out to be a decent picture. Here are some of my favourite ones Favourite Photos
My travelling partner is my wife and best friend Kerry, for some info about us go here

| | 2008 I AM SO OUT OF DATE Time to update!!!! A lot has happened in the past year and I am now very glad to have a few minutes to get back on VT and catch up with some of my friends here. My news is that Kerry & I had our first child on the 13th of July... welcome little Brent!!!!!! |
CORNWALL '08 To spend some time together before the arrival of our first little one, Kerry and I went to Cornwall for a week. We stayed in the wonderful fishing village of Polperro,, a little gem. There is so much to do in Cornwall, from long coastal walks, fishing trips, the Eden Project, St Micheal's Mount to the wondeful openair Minack Theatre on the rocks overlooking the sea.

THE MALDIVES This is my idea of heaven, I only wish I could spend more time here than the 2 weeks that we had. The scenery is breathtaking, the people friendly, the beaches amazing and the sea is magical. The Maldives has so much to offer and is the perfect place to for those looking to relax and get away from it all for awhile..... take some good reading and plenty of sun block. We stayed on Horubadhoo Island in the Baa Atoll, one of the many Atolls in the Maldives. I took plenty of photos during our stay. Here are some of my favourite ones: Maldive Photos 1
| | SOUTH AFRICA Kerry and I have were in South Africa for 3 weeks in April. The main reason for our trip was to get married. We were lucky enough to get married in the breathtakingly beautiful Cradle of Humankind in Muldersdrift, about 45 minutes outside of Johannesburg. That wasn't our only fun, we attended a wedding in Paarl, just outside of Cape Town and another wedding at Zimbali, North of Durban and somehow we managed to squeeze in 3 days at the majestic Kruger National Park.... another little piece of heaven. |
USA: Dec 06 - Jan 07 Christmas was spent in unusually warm Milwaukee with Kerry's folks and her borther, Paul. Once again I came expecting snow and it failed to materialise. We didn't do much sight seeing during our time but instead choose to do as much relaxing together as possible. It was the perfect way to end of a particularly busy year for both of us. I slept for 2 days straight on arriving.
I arrived by myself in Chicago and caught a coach from the airport to Milwaukee and I think it is better and more comfortable than flying the short distance. I managed to leave my passports and ids on the bus but a lovely girl on the bus tracked me down and informed me that she had left the passports with the bus driver.... its great to see that there are still people out there who are concerned about others, particularly people that they don't know. | | | Christmas time in the States |

| | THE SEA: I SHOULD WORK HERE!!! As you'll see from my photos and the destinations that I choose to go to, I absolutely love the sea and the beach. Diving is my favourite pastime. Dahab on the Red Sea remains one of my favourite diving spots. After diving in the Maldives I now can say that it too is one of my favourite places for being under the water. I also really enjoyed the shark diving in Port Shepstone but there are so many more places that I need to try, Thailand here we come.... |
