I took a day trip to Philadelphia for two reasons.
1- I wanted to check out the Philadelphia Phillies baseball stadium-Citizens Bank Park.
2- I've been wanting to try a real Philly Cheesesteak. |
Citizens Bank Park Citizens Bank Park opened in 2004. It was a really cool place to see a game. It holds about 43,000 fans. I went to to see my favorite team- the New York Mets play against the Phillies on August 17, 2006. It was definitely worth the trip since the Mets won 7-2. |
Cheesesteaks I've been wanting to try an authentic Philly Cheesesteak for quite some time. We chose Geno's which is supposedly one of the best. I thought it was good but nothing too special. |
