There isn't a lot to do in Bratislava but it is a really great city to visit. As you walk around the old quarter keep an eye out for the interesting statues around the streets.
Other highlights are the "UFO" Bridge, a trip to Devin Castle, the view from the castle hill and relaxing at one of the many cafes all over.
We found all of the people in Bratislava extremely friendly. |
UFO Make sure to check out the new UFO Bridge. The elevator ride up goes very fast and there is a video screen showing the outside. The views of the city were very nice. |
Devin When visiting Bratislava , a trip to Devin is a must. Devin is about a 35 minute bus ride from Bratislava. The remains of Devin Castle are a sight to see.
When we went- there was a renaissance type of festival going on. People were dressed like knights etc.. and acting out battles. You could try shooting a crossbow or bow and arrow. There were also booths set up with people selling various crafts. |
