Diving for pearl oysters and seafood - Toba

Toba is where mass cultivation of artificial pearls started by Kokichi Mikimoto in the late 19th century.

I find the pace here so much slower than Tokyo and can smell the ocean and hear the lapping of the waves. Great place to unwind and wait patiently for transport and a boat trip in the bay.

In the Red Sea I have once taken a photo of a moray and a Lionfish in the same photo, but I have never seen so many morays at the same location.

Good page on toba, the only toba which I know before this is lake toba :)
