Nathan Road of Kowloon is a mecca for shopping, neon lights and dining out for locals and tourists alike.
There are ways to go up and down Nathan Road from Waterfront at Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), Jordan to Mongkok.
1) Walking along the pavement, shop to shop
2) Hop on a Double Decker bus
3) Tired and lost with lots of shopping bags - meter taxi.
4) Fastest to the furthest destination by MRT.
So try all 4 ways to see the most of Nathan Road in your available shopping time.

One of my favorite airports although it was not so fun during the past SARS outbreak of having to wear surgical face mask.
Airport has two main terminals connected by a "skytrain". Almost miss a flight because of fairly long queue at immigration and the distance need to travel in the transit area. So give yourself plenty of time to check-in before boarding.
Really like the variety of great Hong Kong dim sum and delicacies available in the transit restaurants. The signs are bilingual, in Chinese and English.

Because Hong Kong is a major transit for Taiwanese who cannot fly direct to China, there is an excellent network of well managed bus shuttles that runs regularly from Hong Kong Airport to different Chinese cities of Shenzen, Humen, Dongguang, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, etc.
If you are going to be commuting, there are discounted bus tickets vouchers if bought in bulk.
Note that many buses stop running after 8 or 9pm, so do check the last bus schedule from the different bus companies online.
There is a waiting time of anywhere around 1 hour at the Hong Kong-China immigration border.
Also you must have a ready China visa before you are allowed to board these buses.

The cheapest way to Kowloon from the airport is by using the bus. Also you will get a chance to view the three beautiful bridges along the way. Upon arrival, check with information desk counter the direction and which bus number to take to your hotel destination. You can always get a cab from your nearest bus stop.
Note: The taxi ride is hefty in price. Of course, if you are on company or have extra cash.

The Express Train is an efficient, quick and comfortable and the fastest way to get to Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. There are two stops. For Kowloon station, there are free connecting bus shuttles to the different major hotels in Kowloon.
There is a 50% discount for a same day return to city. This is useful for day trip if you are in transit at the airport and have several hours to spare.
You can check in at Kowloon station.
