All canals lead to Venice...

Rome, Florence, Venice....

Flew into Rome. Trapped in the trafffic jam in Rome outside the old stadium where the gladiators fought.

Next strolling the pedestrian street walks of Florentian architecture.

Followed wandering along the canals of Venice with "Santa Lucia" sung by the gondola boatmen in the background.

It takes a long time to eat lunch in Verona. Patience is a virtue in Italy which somehow both Romeo and Juliet failed to acquire.

Ciao, advante

Thought the expresso was too small a cup and the Italian pizza tasted different from their American cousin.

Wish I had more time in Italy. A land that was so enchanting.

Great tips on Italy! My wife and I also witness the beautiful Dolomite Mountains during our train trip from Austria to Italy :)

I am mystified by the expression "Euro dollar"!! The currency is called the Euro, and is divided into 100 (euro-)cents or in French, centimes. And it does not yet apply throughout the EU, but in 12 EU countries (the Euro-zone).

“Enjoy the moment. Send me a postcard from every country.”
