Asia is the largest continent and has over 60% of the world's population.

Where is Asia?

By definition,
1) Asia is part of the Eurasia landmass west of the Ural Mountains.
2) Separated from Europe by the Black Sea, Caspian Sea and Caucus Mountains
3) Separated from Africa by the Suez Canal.

So shouldn't Turkey or Russia or Cyprus be considered part of Asia?

What about Egypt Sinai peninsula?

Per VT classification of Asian countries, Middle East countries is put in a separate region.

So here I have used VT listing of 32 countries within "ASIA" .

And so far, I have been to 17 countries. That is just over half the number of countries which are highlighted in red

Where to start?

Southeast Asia - Brunei

I will cover only the countries that I have been.

1) Initially I thought perhaps I should start the most popular countries.

2) Then perhaps my recommended preference of order.

3) Or just rank from the largest countries to the smallest countries..

4) May be chronologically as to which countries I have visited first?

5) Should I go by the countries according to when I visited first?

Finally, I have settled for no particular order :)

I like your notes on the Philippines - Mabuhay ...well-written and you are lucky you saw Boaracay --- I haven't even seen it yet! hehehe...And I think the best pciture among the 15 countries is Vietnam----Norman :)

Excellent page - will have to come back to finish but Brunei, Sumatra, Vietnam are places Ive wanted to go and your tips are inspirational.Luckily Ive been to a few Asian countries already and yr tips are a nice refresher!
